Anolyte is a Hypochlorous acid disinfection liquid, which kills viruses in under 15 seconds. It can be safely used on your hands or any surfaces and is non-toxic to people meaning it can be fogged while people are present within a room or a closed environment.
It is 80 to 120 times more effective than Sodium Hypochlorite (bleach), so it kills viruses and bacteria quicker using less product at a low strength.
The solution is listed on the European Biocidal Directive. In order to be listed on the Biocidal directive Anolyte has had to pass many ‘EN’ tests one of which is: EN 14476 Efficacy tests against enveloped and non-enveloped viruses. See all tests passed below.
All humans can produce Hypochlorous acid within their own body, it is used to destroy invading & harmful bacteria, Much like the human body immune system, Anolyte ANK is an antimicrobial solution formed from naturally occurring elements, it attacks an array of microbial organisms.
Our immune system generates HOCl to help fight off pathogens by oxidizing (exploding) their cell walls. This process is chemically selective with no toxic or mutagenic side effects for higher forms of life. Hypochlorous acid in this instance is set at a mild PH of 6 to 6.5. Hypochlorous acid is widely used in the food and medical industry due to its non toxic nature, it’s ability to be safely fogged, its effectiveness and the fact that pathogens cannot develop resistance to it. Hypochlorous acid is also a FDA approved substance.
At this strength the solution is perfectly safe to breathe in making it perfect to be used in decontamination booth/chambers as well used with disinfectant sprayers without the need for respiratory PPE.
